Hazel T Castro, APRN-C

Hazel T. Castro, MSN, APRN-C is a graduate of the Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation College of Nursing and Medicine in the Philippines where she graduated best in clinical rotation and cum laude in her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then proceeded to obtain her Doctor of Medicine in the same educational institution and completed her residency in internal medicine shortly thereafter. Upon moving to the United States, Mrs. Castro then practiced as a registered nurse for over ten years in Chicago and eventually graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois in 2015.

Mrs. Castro has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at VNA Health Care in Aurora, Illinois before moving to Las Vegas to work as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for Platinum Hospitalists, providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, and Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center.

Mrs. Castro has a passion for the field of gastroenterology and has been providing care to the patients at Las Vegas Gastroenterology for several years now. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Mrs. Castro is also fluent in Tagalog.
